The Prize Ladder
Models & Prep
Competitors must provide their own live model meeting all category requirements. No pre-cutting, pre-styling, or pre-preparation of any kind is permitted before the competition starts.
Live Work Only
All work must be performed live during the competition within the assigned time limits. Competitors must stop immediately when time is called. Judges reserve the right to inspect at any stage.
Approved Products
Only approved products may be used where required and will be provided on-site. Competitors must use only approved tools, products, and materials for their specific category.
Cleanliness & Safety
All tools must be visibly clean prior to competition start. Proper disinfectant use required. Unsafe or unsanitary workstations may result in point deductions or disqualification.
Professional Conduct
Professional conduct is required at all times. Severe unprofessional or disruptive conduct may result in disqualification. All competitors are expected to uphold HEBS professional standards.
Entry Fees
Early Bird Entry: $75 · Standard Entry: $150. Only competitors who qualify regionally may compete at HEBS Nationals.
