HEBS Lagos is the international championship stage of the HEBS organization. It is the fourth and final step in the Road to HEBS™ Championship journey — the destination where the very best beauty professionals from the United States compete against international talent on a worldwide platform.
This global championship connects international talent and showcases beauty artistry on a worldwide stage — celebrating the craft of braiding, barbering, loc artistry, and creative styling at the highest competitive level in the world.

The Road Does Not End at Nationals
HEBS Lagos is the natural evolution of the HEBS championship platform. The Road to HEBS™ regional tour covers nine cities across the United States, feeding into the HEBS National Championship in Secaucus, New Jersey.
But the ultimate champions — the HEBS Crown Champions — do not stop at New Jersey. They carry the United States flag to Lagos, Nigeria, where they compete against the best beauty professionals from around the world.
This connection between HEBS USA and HEBS Lagos is what separates HEBS from any other beauty competition in the world. It is not just a national title — it is a pathway to global recognition.

Opening Day
Competitor check-in, welcome ceremonies, and the official opening of the HEBS Lagos International Championship. International teams arrive and are introduced on the global stage.

International Competition Rounds
The main competition rounds take place across all championship divisions. USA Crown Champions face the world's best beauty professionals in live, judged competition.

Grand Finals & Awards Ceremony
The final day crowns the international HEBS Lagos Champions. The closing awards ceremony celebrates the best beauty talent in the world and closes the 2027 championship year.

Qualification pathway
How to Qualify
HEBS Lagos is not open to general registration. Only HEBS Crown Champions from the HEBS National Championship earn the right to compete at the international stage. Here is the path to Lagos.

Compete in the Regional Tour
Register and compete in one of nine regional cities across the USA — from Atlanta in February to Philadelphia in April 2027. Place in the Top 3 in your division to advance to Nationals. Entry fee: $75 early bird / $150 standard.

Win at HEBS Nationals
Advance to the HEBS National Championship in Secaucus, New Jersey — May 2–3, 2027 at the Meadowlands Convention Center. Win your division category at Nationals to advance to the Crown Finals.

Earn the Crown
Win 1st place at the HEBS National Championship in your division to become a Crown Champion. 1st place National Division Champions receive $5,000 cash, the Official HEBS Championship Belt, and flight & hotel to HEBS Lagos, Nigeria — October 2027.
